How to hide text in Microsoft Word
Step 1: First open the document containing the text content you want to hide.

Step 3: In the Font dialog box that appears, select the Font tab and then click the Hidden option under the Effects feature group.
Step 4: Click the OK button and the selected text will disappear immediately. In fact, it still exists in the document, it is just hidden.
When you need to view the content of a hidden text paragraph in Word, do the following:
Step 1: Press the key combination CTRL + A to “highlight” all text content in the document.
Step 2: Right-click anywhere in the highlighted text and select Font again. Now you will see that the Hidden option under the Effects feature group has no check mark but instead a blue mark.
Step 3: This means that some of the selected text has been hidden and the rest is still visible. Clicking on the Hidden option again will change it to a check mark, meaning that all the text in the document will be hidden and checking it again will show the entire text content, including the hidden content.
Now you will see the hidden text is in a different position, no longer in the old position, this is because when you enter new text content, the hidden text will be automatically pushed down. So instead of being overwritten, the hidden text is simply pushed down.
If you want the text to remain in a certain position, you can click the Show/Hide Paragraph Marks button to display the hidden text with a special underline.
